A few new web projects - Jools Stone

I’m delighted to announce a few new web projects I’ve just launched. Both are still very much in their embryonic stage, but I’m just too excited to keep them to myself for much longer I’m afraid!

New Train Site

First up comes Railway Stays, a website I’ve set up with my partner Kirsty and one which we’ve been hatching for many moons now. This new site picks up from where Trains on the Brain left off. The basic premise of the site is that it will bring you our pick of the best railway hotels (both new and old) luxury train journeys, land cruises and night trains, from all corners of the world. It will also eventually branch out to include some info on how to plan your perfect railway wedding and/or honeymoon – a subject that’s dear to our own hearts!

The second site is a bit more left field for me. It’s more of an experiment in affiliate marketing than anything really, but should be interesting and good fun too. It’s called E-Shisha Guide and will document my attempts to quit smoking using these new fangled electronic cigarettes, or e-shishas as they’re now being called. I’ll be reviewing various e-smoking products and sharing what I’ve learned.

Film Marketing

Meanwhile I’m still working away part time too, handling outreach and digital marketing  for We Are Northern Lights, Scotland’s first ever crowdsourced documentary film which is preparing now for an exciting second phase, accepting fresh film submissions from DIY film makers across Scotland.

Of course I’ll always find the time to look after a few discreet freelance projects too, so do please drop me a line if there’s anything I can help you with on that front.

Please take a look at some of my writing samples on my clips and credits page to get a feel for my work.

In particular, if you’ve been meaning to getting around to giving your business a bit of a boost online but just never get around to it, you might want to consider my new online starter packs for small businesses, detailed on my services page.

I look forward to hearing from you and very much hope you enjoy following my exploits on these two new web ventures!

Be lucky! 🙂
